"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."
A tithe means "tenth" — it’s giving 10% of your income or increase to God.
In Malachi 3:8-12, God gives us the commandment to pay your tithes. And He also challenges us to test Him on how He will not only open up the windows of heaven to bless us, He will also protect our fruit from the devourer. Let us be a blessing unto the Lord.
Offerings are any gifts given beyond the tithe — voluntary and from the heart.
2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV): Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Be a cheerful giver and Bless the Ministry.
Giving is more than a transaction — it is an expression of gratitude, faith, and partnership in God’s mission. Thank you for sowing into the work of the Kingdom.
Giving back to God what already belongs to Him, with a heart of gratitude. “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.” – Proverbs 3:9
